Experience
I am passionate about Mathematics and am interested in tutoring students working on Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, and the ASPIRE, STAAR EOC, PSAT, SAT, and ACT tests. I have more than fifteen years of experience tutoring these subjects, and a master's degree in Mathematics and Physics from the Belorussian Mogilevsky State Pedagogical University.Much of my tutoring has been done at the secondary and collegiate levels, helping learners to improve their class grades and standardized test scores. The best way to do this, I have found, is to show my students how passionate I am about my field. When they see that I am interested, it suggests that there may be a reason for them to be interested as well. I take the time to explore their interests and bring in outside materials that appeal to them. This, too, is a good approach to model because it shows them that they can bring their interests into the equation. My spare time is spent reading, running, dancing, and listening to music.
